Job Description

The Analyst, Local Sales Strategy and Monetization will work with the Business Development and Strategy team, reporting to the VP Local Sales Strategy and Monetization, to support initiatives driving the profitability of NBCUniversal Local. They will work on identifying, analyzing, and supporting opportunities in support of our overall growth plan across OTT, Ad Tech and Traditional Media. These opportunities will include strategic partnerships with a significant focus on NBC Spot On, NBCU Local's high-growth regional advanced OTT/CTV monetization platform. It is a unique opportunity for those interested in a position that combines traditional and new media, with a key focus on OTT monetization. The role has significant exposure across senior executive leadership in a growth area of the company.

Responsibilities
• Support strategic analysis and projects across digital business; develop and present strategic recommendations
• Collaborate effectively with external and internal strategic partners / stakeholders
• Act as business contact for revenue partners, and support financial and general analysis across projects and existing partnerships
• Support programmatic initiatives and ongoing analytical needs
• Proactively identify evolving media and advertising landscape trends across traditional and new media including but not limited to digital, linear, programmatic, retail media, ecommerce, social

Qualifications
• 2-3 years total work experience within media Business Development & Strategy, management consulting firm or investment banking. Focus on television/cable and/or digital media a plus
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY

Desired
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Fluency in Microsoft Excel, including building custom reports, managing/analyzing large sets of data, pivot tables, and x-lookups/v-lookups
• Solid base understanding of digital technologies and their applications
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and take on increasing levels of responsibility
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience working effectively with senior leadership
• Analytical with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Curious, flexible and able to quickly adapt to change

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
