Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The Analyst, Diversity Analytics and Compliance will report to the VP of Corporate Initiatives on the NBCUniversal Diversity & Inclusion team. This position has an emphasis on analytics and metrics for workforce, programming, and philanthropy-focused initiatives across the NBCUniversal enterprise.

Job Duties
• Analyze large amounts of detailed data covering workforce, talent in front of and behind the camera, and philanthropic donations; including data collection, validation and synthesis
• Work closely with the Comcast Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team to create and facilitate NBCUniversal contributions to combined company reporting and presentations
• Support submissions for industry surveys such as the DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity survey, the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility Corporate Inclusion Index, and the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index
• Utilize various database systems, including SAP and Power BI
• Build and maintain detailed spreadsheets in Excel, utilizing pivot tables and advanced formulas
• Track and analyze numerous key metrics, including historical trends across various populations
• Create critical and time-sensitive reports and presentations that detail the progress of the Company's diversity commitments/initiatives; communicate clearly and concisely all key takeaways, methodologies and assumptions
• Develop additional reports, and assume other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience working on an analytical project team, with defined and time-sensitive deliverables
• 2+ years of experience in advanced Excel, as well as PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

Additional Requirements
• Finalists will be required to complete a related data assignment.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must be willing to travel for work related business as necessary
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated

• Ability to perform under time constraints and meet strict deadlines
• Experience analyzing and distilling large sets of data in Excel, then communicating key takeaways and all supporting detail in both oral and written form
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
• Self-starter, able to work independently, utilizing known and new resources to find answers
• Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills
• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI a plus

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000
