Job Description
NBCUniversal Local is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and motivated self-starter to support innovation in our Ad Impact efforts for the NBC, Telemundo, and Regional Sports Network portfolio. Ad Impact builds strategic partnerships with agencies and clients for the measurement of the effectiveness of advertiser campaigns and sponsorships across NBCU content, platforms, and partnerships. This position will support the upper management, playing a key role in digital and convergent data tactics, strategies, and data storytelling to ensure operational efficiency of cross-funnel campaign measurement from end-to-end to ensure maximum effectiveness of advertiser campaigns and sponsorships.
You will report to the Manager, Ad Impact. The Analyst's responsibilities will include:
• Collaborate with all our internal business partners (sales, analytics, and operations teams) to ensure that our solutions will be robust, comprehensive, and performant
• Work closely with outside vendors to manage campaign tracking and measurement plans
• Report monthly on attribution metrics and serve as onboarding expert for all clients and ad sales team
• Analyze and visualize data and insights to communicate findings clearly and concisely
• Adherence to project milestones and delivery of results within tight deadlines
• Work with senior research management in evaluating new research tools and other data sources to understand capabilities and potential benefits
• Stay current on media and digital analytics, audience measurement best practices, announcements, and industry research
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) from an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Media, Math, Statistics, Marketing Analytics or related field OR equivalent experience
• 1+ years of work experience or previous internship experience with agency/media/publisher/tech is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required; advanced skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc.) are a plus
• Customer service orientation (internal and external customers)
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills - collaborative and positive spirit is key
• Highly motivated self-starter with the capacity to be resourceful, flexible, proactive & a true team-player
• Ability to convey complex data results in a simple and concise way
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills, with the ability to accurately handle multiple projects, as well as exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with data visualization tools like Domo, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI
