Job Description

Responsibilities
• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP in order to follow NBCU Sports overall close schedule
• Ability to support all types of journal entries from cash, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intangibles, accrued liabilities.
• Prepare monthly close reconciliations in Blackline to ensure timely and accurate closing of the books and managing to NBCU Sports schedule
• Prepare and support revenue share calculations
• Provide information as requested by SportsEngine's FP&A team
• Contribute analysis and information for various quarterly reporting requests to NBCU corporate
• Follow and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
• Take initiative to understand the various business platforms and products that you are responsible for reporting on
• Ability to utilize periscope reporting
• Provide billing information to corporate sales tax teams to complete state sales tax filings
• Provide testing documents and other requests for external and internal audits as required
• Assist with compliance projects such as 1099-K reporting
• Assist with various ad hoc projects
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
-1+ years' experience as an accountant
- B.A., B.S. in Accounting
-Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including credit
-Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
-Must be 18 years or older

Desired Characteristics
-1+ years' accounting experience demonstrating steady growth
-Demonstrated understanding of GAAP
-International accounting currency exchange knowledge, a plus
-Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivation and ownership thinking
-Demonstrated strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
-Ability to manage personal deadlines along with team deadlines
-Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
-Willingness to work overtime for month and quarter end deadlines, if necessary
-CPA and/or MBA, strongly desired or progression demonstrated
-SAP experience, a plus
-Zuora experience, a plus
