Technology Communications Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Technology Communications, the Technology Communications Manager will facilitate and oversee various internal communication projects around product releases and initiatives across the NBC Sports Next Product Development team.

We seek a highly motivated and driven individual to be responsible for updating the business / external users of enhancements to our technology platforms. This person will also be responsible for assisting with tracking website, video and event statistics, and more.

In delivering the key priorities of the role, the Technology Communications Manager will;
• Work with Product Development teams to develop and distribute internal / external release notes to various departments and end users.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to develop, organize, and edit product and policy documentation.
• Work within corporate communication channels (Chatter, Email, Intranet) to provide information in a concise and timely manner.
• Support the Technology Communications Team with gathering / tracking website, video and event statistics.
• Develop and edit video / podcast communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with the Engagement & Culture Manager, Technology to gather and execute event ideas for the Product Development team.
• Assist with communications during outages (as needed).

Qualifications and requirements;
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar experience in a previous role
• Confident communicator and presenter with an attention toward details
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Understanding of executing communications through multiple media channels
• Experience in delivering customer facing product and project communications across diverse groups
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment; manage multiple responsibilities and deadline deliveries
• Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL.

Desired characteristics and experience;
• Familiar with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
• Experience with SharePoint
• Understanding of Product Development / Technology is a plus
