Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
This role serves as a key position in the NBC Sports Regional Networks Controllership function. This role will be responsible for assisting with all financial aspects of the business, and requires understanding of accounting/finance and the ability to partner with business units, Corporate Finance and Comcast. The Sr. Financial Analyst, Controllership reports to the Director, Accounting.

Responsibilities:
• Preparation of quarterly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flows)
• Prepare and record journal entries related to debt and ad hoc transactions for SportsNet NewYork
• Prepare quarter end data requests ensuring timely and accurate submission to NBCU Corp
• Assist with balance sheet, account reconciliation and journal entry reviews
• Capital project creation including the review and monitoring of HQ CIP
• SAP Decentralized Maintainer for the RSNs (open/close accounts/profit centers/cost centers)
• Identify opportunities to standardize controllership activities across the portfolio
• Ad hoc variance analysis and projects

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience

• Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends and holidays as necessary to meet deadlines
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
