Responsibilities
SportsEngine, Inc., an NBC Sports Group company and leading provider of Sport Relationship Management (SRM) software, is hiring a Senior UX Designer to join our Product team in Minneapolis to deliver our strategic growth goals by improving existing products and creating new products.

In this highly visible position, the Senior UX Designer is responsible for the user experience strategy for their product team and is a key contributor to the user experience vision across our products.

Reporting directly to the UX Manager, this person will be a key leader on the UX team within the Product development department and will be responsible for delivering great products that meet our company goals and
exceed our customers' expectations. As a senior leader of the UX team at SportsEngine, you will;
• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle while embedded on a product team within a dedicated domain. You set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
• Be autonomous. You'll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last
detail, every step of the way. You have the ability to present your work, align multiple stakeholders, and consider all feedback critically.
• Be part of a team. You'll be joining our exceptional design team and have a chance to grow your skillset alongside our passionate group of designers.
• Co-lead and make significant contributions to our design system
• Produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-Fi sketches and wireframes.
• Let youth sports administrators and volunteers lead the way. Our users inform us where we are going. Our teams focus on listening to users and letting their needs guide us to the best solutions. It's important for us to know we are solving for real people.
• Help define the process, strategy and best practices for the UX team
• Work closely with product leaders to understand and analyze new opportunities, and assess user and business impact.
• Provide mentorship to fellow UX Designers.
• Demonstrate thought leadership with how product(s) address user experience problems/needs.
• Contribute to the collaborative culture of our design team.
• We are a remote-friendly work environment. Whether you live outside the Minneapolis area and would be fully-remote, or you live within commuting distance but want the option to work from home
sometimes, that works for us.
• We offer flexible work schedules, including the option to work 4 10-hour days .

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience working on consumer and business web applications.
• Experience in leading complex design projects.

• Strong visual design skills and an eye for consistency.
• Detail orientated approach with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to work independently to manage multiple projects at a time.
• Confidence in presenting work and ideas to any audience.
• Can apply design strategy, analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate design vision.
