Responsibilities
Job Duties
Job purpose: As a Sales Commercial Producer you will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, shooting, producing, and editing material for clients for use on all NBC Sports Washington, NBC4 and Telemundo44 Platforms. Responsibilities would include:
• Collaborate with Sales team and Brand Marketing team to ascertain clients' needs and conceptualize ideas to meet those needs
• Present ideas to clients
• Write commercial and promotional copy
• Produce multi-platform commercial content and graphics for clients
• Direct production personnel (videographers, editors, graphic designers) in all aspects of production process
• Shoot, edit and design video for multiple platforms
• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial production, including writing, producing, and directing production personnel and talent
• Minimum 1 year hands on non-linear editing experience
• Minimum 1 year experience working with digital video cameras
• Must be willing to work in Washington DC
• Must be 18 years or greater
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be available to evenings, weekends and holidays

• Bachelor's Degree or related experience
• Creative thinker and self-starter
• Strong knowledge and working understanding of production and post-production techniques and facilities
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency; including Premier Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Digital video experience
• Strong copywriting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple projects
• Spanish language skills a plus
