Part-TIme Logger -NBC Sports

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION -

The Logger will watch and log live golf broadcast feeds, marking each shot and relevant highlights in our computerized system. The Logger will provide a comprehensive record of what happened in various tournaments each week, making it easy for producers to find the content they desire

Please Note: This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Responsibilities:
• Keep and store all logger-related transactions and events
• Assist with Logging all tapes
• Assist and track Log highlights
• Log live tournaments

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of golf
• 1+ years of professional experience (internship experience included)
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work well under time deadlines
• Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
• Must be extremely organized and prepared
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a self-starter
• Must be able to work from home on a company issued laptop
• Must be able to complete NBC training for logging procedure on Avid Media Central

Desired Characteristics:
• Key understanding of Top Players on the PGA Tour and Top Courses, played on
• Knowledge of LPGA and/ or DP World Tour is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with various departments to find fixes when encountering trouble with assigned feeds
• Experience with Avid Media Central Cloud UX (MCUX) is a bonus
• Willingness to help out on other projects that may arise

Additional Requirements:
• Must be able to work weekends, nights, early morning, depending on the tournament schedule each week
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
