Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst, you will provide analysis to the NBC Sports Next and Fandango business groups to help guide both strategic and financial decisions. You will partner with the Finance team and Senior Leadership to create meaningful plans and periodic forecasts that reflect the state of the business and provide for a meaningful financial benchmark. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc decision-making support for strategic initiatives and special projects.

Job Duties
• Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast, and budget
• Foster strong relationships with business leaders across the organization to support financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support the monthly close process, including accruals, invoices, and re-classes
• Assist entire FP&A team with various reporting and ad hoc requests
• Bring new thinking and ways of doing things to the team, as appropriate, including analyzing and championing new metrics, reporting, and performance indicators to identify key financial trends

Qualifications

Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• At least one year of finance, accounting, or business analysis experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with utilizing various formulas and functions
• Strong technical aptitude, including ability and desire to learn company systems and tools.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Able to transform quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations and communicate them in a concise and compelling way
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships on a cross-functional team and partner with leaders in various business areas
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt work style/processes in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications
• Relevant Technology and SaaS industry experience
• Forecasting and budgeting experience
• SAP, BPC, and/or Power BI experience

Additional Job Requirements
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL.
