Freelance - Coordinator, Features Production Management - NBC Sports

Responsibilities

Description
This position will work with the Features Production Management team in Stamford focusing on Golf but also working with all members of the team on all company properties.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Support Features Production Management team on Golf features, documentaries and sales projects
• Assist with forecasting, budgets, and planning for profiles, features, documentary, and specialty projects.
• Update budgets as production progresses to track overall spending categories, including domestic/international profiles, documentaries/long form features, etc.
• Reconcile administrative paperwork, correspondence, notes/final reports from all projects in various internal systems
• Book logistics (schedule, travel, hotel, rentals, crew/equipment needs, accreditation), research and prepare estimates prior to each project and track costs throughout production.
• Review and anticipate foreign travel procedures for international travel (rules/laws with regards to filming, permits, safety/security, visas, carnets, currency, power, local fixers, equipment rentals, etc).
• Request Certificate of Insurance and Property Insurance for various vendors, vendor credit card authorizations, visa applications and carnets for international shoots, secure mandatory traveler information
• Support Features Production Management team with similar tasks to the above for any/all company properties include but not limited to athlete profiles, features, documentaries, sales and marketing and specialty projects as assigned
• Work alongside the Features Production Management team in long term planning and execution of the Olympic Games:
• Data entry/data population/data cross referencing in specific database
• Aerial schedule creation, aerial schedule population in specific database
• Coordinate logistical elements with various internal departments and outside vendors
• Games Time role in Stamford anticipated
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
• 3+ years Production Coordination experience in television required
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail required. Strong ability to assess priorities, adapt to face-paced environment and take direction from multiple people, and work in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to and follow new/current corporate processes and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
• Willing to work long hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to travel to occasional domestic or international locations as required

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment
• Must be fully vaccinated upon commencing employment, subject to legally required exemptions
