Responsibilities

NBC Sports Next includes three groups. This role is part of our Youth & Recreation Sports group.
Youth & Recreational Sports is comprised of technology platforms, such as SportsEngine, GoMotion, TourneyMachine, and TeamUnify that enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, c ollect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.

The State Supervisor role is located in Minneapolis. It is a full time role and requires occasional evening/weekend hours managing a team of remote employees that are held to nightly deadlines. Your attention to detail, your tight communication with the team and your ability to thrive in an independent environment are the qualities that will make you successful in this role.

Stats Supervisor Role and Responsibilities:
• Interview, hire, train, and manage a team of contractors
• Coordinate team processes to collect and enter stats and scores for a variety of amateur sports on deadline
• Responsible for owning and executing the stats collection, documentation and publishing for all of our large client contractual obligations
• Communicate with contingent workforce to ensure adequate coverage of all sports
• Create and publish contractor schedules
• Delegate nightly and weekly assignments to ensure coverage for all sports reporting
• Ensure all daily publication deadlines are met
• Answer questions and solve basic issues that arise during evening shifts
• Consistently complete projects on or before deadline
• Responsible for ensuring contractor time approvals to ensure on time payment
• After hours contact for our media partners
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
• 1+ years of experience in leadership capacity
• 1+ years experience in media
