Product Manager, Streaming Incubator

Team Overview:

The Paramount Streaming Innovation team ignites new ideas within the Streaming Services teams encouraging a culture of innovation across the hundreds of product and technology experts building our streaming services including Paramount+, BET+, and PlutoTV. The Streaming Incubator invites cross functional teams to validate product and technology ideas that strive to differentiate Paramount in the streaming landscape.

Role Details

The Manager will facilitate the operation and optimization of Paramount Streaming's Incubator Program. This role will work alongside rotating teams helping them to experiment and incubate differentiating ideas. Reporting to the VP of Streaming Incubator, this role will manage the execution of innovation frameworks within specific projects.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Manage incubation projects as they move into the incubator on a quarterly basis
• Sit within rotational teams as they shape and refine their ideas for the future of streaming
• Apply innovation frameworks into the day to day execution of incubator projects, including:
• Ideation sessions
• Stakeholder Interviews around the organization
• Technology research
• Prototype development
• Use testing
• Assist in the building of business rationale
• Clearly recording and articulating learnings throughout the projects
• Collaborate and foster community within incubator teams
• Be a creative dot-connector within the organization and with external experts

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of product management experience within a digital product organization
• Portfolio of experimental projects
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize product requirements and validation criteria
• A talent for driving collaboration across teams and can rally disparate groups towards a common goal
• Experience in facilitating design workshops and brainstorming sessions
• Exquisite listening skills and empathy
• A passion for the intersection of entertainment and emerging technology

Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Incredible communication skills, tell the story of a project's evolution
• Experience working in R&D/innovation space
• Experience and/or certification in facilitating workshops
• Familiarity with modern productivity and collaboration tools such as G Suite, Airtable, Miro, Figma, and more

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 130,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
