Job Description
We are looking for a Manager to join our Content Acquisitions team! This position is an active contributor to the Global Program Acquisitions Group which licenses a high-volume of content for a well-recognized suite of networks and services. The Manager will work closely with the Strategy, Planning & Negotiations areas within the department to ensure program details are captured accurately. This position will also collaborate with department executives to build Corporate presentations, draft deal memos and support series & movies negotiation work.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized with effective time management skills who is able multi-task with ease and demonstrate excellent written & computer skills. Must be able to thrive in a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
• Handle accuracy of series / movie information for all in-house acquired product, inputs deal information into database
• Track action items in department database to ensure deadlines are met & team accountability
• Partner with executives to draft deal memos & support team members on special projects including researching & capturing relevant industry intel and data for high-level presentations
• Draft Product info sheets, using as sources department database, performance reporting & online resources
• Track competitive and product availability information; maintain information in department database
• Monitor industry news with close attention to sharing info that may impact the business
• Support team on various database enhancement initiatives and maintenance.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years coordinator and/or manager experience
• Entertainment, media-related or program research industry experience
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Familiarity with working in databases / data management / report generation

• Must be adaptable, able to work independently as well as in tandem with department executives
• Proven attention to detail, excellent organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment keeping confidential business information discreet and private
• Must demonstrate advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills, and desire to utilize regularly to refresh documents.
• Technologically savvy; experience with software that supports department workflow efficiencies and advances how department presents information, including Tableau, Sharepoint, Airtable
• Experience using Program Research applications including Nielsen & StarTrak
• Must be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and re-prioritize work.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $80,000.00 - 90,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
