Responsibilities
Project Manager- Artworks
Artworks is a multifaceted department within NBC Universal that creates graphics for on air broadcasts across both linear and digital products. The team is made up of talented artists and designers that work every day to put the best product on air, representing NBC News, MSNBC, NBC News Now, Peacock, and more. The creation, organization and distribution of these many assets under tight deadlines requires a project management team that will create a necessary discipline and workflow within the department.

Responsibilities
• Ability to assess the department's current project management system and come up with creative and functional solutions to improve upon it
• Collaborate with creative, editorial and production teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and launch dates
• Organize project logistics, set schedules, track milestones
• Provide clear and consistent communication of project status to leadership, art directors and team members at weekly meetings
• Schedule and run meetings to allow for planning updates throughout the course of a project with effective communication to all project team members and stakeholders
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies and develop plans to mitigate them
• Outline budgets based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 5 years project management experience in media, technology, or relevant field
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Smartsheets and/or

Confluence a plus 
• Proven exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
• Experience with road mapping and laying out timelines  with Gantt
• Must be able to work in New York, New York
