MPC are looking for Unreal Lead/Supervisor to join the VAD (Virtual Art Department) on a new live action project. Working closely with the Virtual Production team, you will be creating and optimising environments and characters in Unreal Engine, ready for both Motion Capture and Virtual Camera shoots.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of building environments in Unreal and be passionate about utilising real-time technology to push the boundaries in Virtual Production.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Working within the VAD (Virtual Art Department) building, texturing and lighting photoreal environments inside Unreal Engine
• Utilising Unreal Engine's full suite of world building tools including Megascans, blueprints (desirable) , shaders, lighting and particle effect
• Shader and texture authoring for assets
• Working from reference materials such as scans, previz, photography and concept art
• Keeping real-time scenes optimised across modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, shading, lighting and particle effects for real-time workflows
Qualifications
Essentials
• 6+ years of game or film industry experience creating assets and environments
• Experience in creating photo-realistic assets in both organic and hard-surface assets and environments
• Intermediate to advanced-level user in Unreal and experience working in Maya, Substance, photoshop and Zbrush
• Understanding the import/export process to Unreal engine on both Static Mesh and Skeletal Mesh level
Any of the following experience is a great advantage:
• Experience of the process and cleanup of photogrammetry assets
• Experience contributing to developing bespoke real-time pipelines and maintaining a strong knowledge of the latest tools and processes available in Unreal
• On-set experience
