This role will manage incoming and outgoing corporate communication publicity for Technicolor Creative Studios, covering corporate/business news for the entertainment, advertising and gaming divisions.

The applicant will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and distributing publicity campaigns around the announcement of corporate updates such as C-Suite level staff changes, mergers and acquisitions, business news and financial reporting.

The candidate will also be responsible for identifying and placing thought leadership opportunities, both via earned and paid media for C-Suite level executives in key business media targets and will play a key role in reputation & crisis management across all Technicolor Creative Studios as required.

The ideal candidate will have strong pre-existing relationships across the business, industry and financial media landscape and a successful history of placing stories within top-tier business and industry trades.

Key responsibilities:
• Working with the Director of Communications to build a strategic calendar of corporate communications across brands, leveraging trends and industry key tentpole events throughout the calendar year
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and partners on the messaging and communications for major corporate updates, projects, business news and partnerships
• Writing, distributing and selling in press release information to key industry media
• Pitching thought leadership ideas to a range of media stakeholders
• Ghostwriting thought leadership articles and quotes on behalf of senior staff members
• Planning paid media and editorial opportunities
• Building and maintaining relationships with reporters in the Business, Financial and Technology sectors
• Reputation & Crisis management as required
• Monitoring media sentiment, press coverage and campaign success metrics through Meltwater
• Collaborating with the larger publicity team across Technicolor Creative Studios
• Collaborating with Digital Content team across Technicolor Creative Studios to amplify PR messaging and coverage across digital channels

Qualifications
• validated experience in entertainment industry publicity and have positive relationships with domestic/international journalists.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Previous experience executing successful PR campaigns for large global corporations
• Previous experience building campaign launch strategies
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under short timelines.
• Experience within a global team and international media markets
• Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the entertainment/television/film/gaming/advertising/production landscape is a plus.
