We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Administrator to join our Moonbug IT Department. This critical role will be responsible for the ongoing administration, optimisation, and support of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it effectively supports our commercial teams and drives revenue growth. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of both out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality and custom configurations, coupled with a strong grasp of commercial team operations and revenue recognition processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user management, profiles, roles, permission sets, security settings, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, custom objects, fields, page layouts, and record types.
• Implement and maintain customisations to Salesforce, including declarative development (e.g. Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules) and working with developers on more complex custom solutions.
• Provide comprehensive support and training to Salesforce users across all Primary Commercial teams (Distribution, Brand Partnerships) as well as Secondary teams (Finance, Media Ops, Studios) addressing their questions, resolving issues, and creating user-friendly documentation.
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable Salesforce solutions and, or wider system integrations as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and quality within Salesforce, including data cleansing, deduplication, and migration. Develop and maintain data quality reports and dashboards.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to commercial teams. Develop a deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and how they are reflected in Salesforce reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, evaluating their potential impact on the organisation and implementing upgrades and updates seamlessly.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations, customisations, and processes.
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices and ensure the platform is optimised for performance and scalability.
Requirements:
• Salesforce Administrator certification (required). Advanced Administrator certification (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a proven track record of successfully managing and customising Salesforce for commercial teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud
• Experience with NetSuite, Monday.com and other custom integrations preferred
• Deep understanding of out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality and custom configurations.
• Strong understanding of commercial team operations, including sales processes, automation, and customer success workflows.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and their application within Salesforce.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
• Experience with data management and data quality best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus and being able to triage development requests with developers as needed to ensure we have a solid roadmap for delivery and continuous improvement.
