Job Description
The Technology Operations Specialist operates the help desk for the Minnesota Twins. This position will perform general Technology support functions while interacting directly with employees in person and by using remote support support tools for remote staff. This hands-on position is expected to be on-site at Target Field as the role supports in-building technology including configuring workstations, troubleshooting printing issues, performing initial triage for multiple systems issues, and more. Remote work is available as job duties allows and is contingent upon the company flexible work policy. Facility support includes Target Field, the Twins Spring Training complex in Ft. Myers, FL, and the Twins Academy in the Dominican Republic (with occasional travel to these locations). This position will share game and event support with the Technology Infrastructure team and will require nights and weekends balanced by flexible hours. Our Technology Infrastructure environment and team offers exposure to many areas of IT infrastructure operations with opportunities for professional growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for assuming helpdesk tickets from a ticketing-system from initiation to completion to the satisfaction of the customer (employee)
• Perform employee and equipment moves/adds/changes.
• Image and deploy workstations including hardware support of PCs and laptops, such as installing replacement hardware or upgrading hardware.
• Promote a high level of customer satisfaction through proper telephone, email, video conferencing, in-person techniques, and respond with the appropriate amount of urgency to user problems.
• Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
• Support software and hardware on equipment such as scanners, copiers, printers, monitors, TVs, networking equipment, phones and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and support users with video conferencing and other technology in conference rooms.
• Support and comply with information security policies and procedures, and assist in educating users on cybersecurity best practices.
• Maintain appropriate levels of spare equipment and miscellaneous supplies.
• Escalate problems to appropriate members of the department as needed.
• Plan for and provide in-service and other forms of continuing education of software and hardware to users.
• Enhance troubleshooting skills by staying current with technology through seminars and education opportunities.
• Proactively contributes to the overall technology vision of the organization.
• Cross trains with Technology Department members to support peripheral technologies and rotates on call needs.

Education and Experience (minimum qualifications)
• Two-year degree in Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a seated position for most of the workday.
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer, keyboard and telephone.
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the entire facility to support employee and venue technology.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling.
