Overview

Summary The Senior Graphic Designer position will serve as a lead designer for the Club and will work with the Art Director and Creative Team to conceptualize and design projects across the entire organization. Primarily, the position will support digital aspects for Ticket Sales and Fan Engagement efforts through the ideation and design of forward-thinking creative concepts, ad campaigns and graphic elements that maintain the continuity of the Brewers brand across the entire marketing mix. This position will also work interdepartmentally with other areas such as Special Events, Retail, Media Relations, etc. Creativity, hard work, positive attitude, strong attention to detail and dedication are musts.

• Work with the Creative team to annually review and enhance/develop the brand identity and season-long look for the Club
• Play a leading role in the conceptualization and development of creative concepts and design solutions for key Club initiatives and higher-profile marketing and branding communications
• Responsible for the design of marketing, advertising and branding materials, such as, but not limited to:
• Digital Advertising-heavy emphasis
• Social Media
• Print
• Outdoor
• Direct Mail
• Signage
• In-Stadium Graphics
• Promotional Items/Packaging
• Collateral/Ticket Books/Parking Passes
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for advertising and video campaigns and other advertising/marketing efforts for the Club
• Participate in cross-functional committee meetings for key Club initiatives, representing the Design Team as the lead designer
• Foster strong working relationships with agencies, vendors, printers, and team photographer
• Assist with planning and execution of photo shoots
• Manage seasonal Graphic Design Intern

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must be highly creative, possess strong initiative and be detail-oriented
• Possess strong communication skills and be able to provide clear direction and concise feedback when reviewing work
• Good copywriting instincts and proofreading skills
• Ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Adept knowledge of baseball and/or sports

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in graphic arts and/or related field along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in same field.

Computer Skills

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Exceptional ability with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is necessary
• Basic digital animation experience/knowledge a plus, but not required

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Hours

Business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm; however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays as the project workload dictates. During the baseball season, the employee will be required to be ''on call'' to produce graphics to support the Club's social media efforts, as necessary.
