Job Description
MGM Alternative is seeking a Senior Operations & Strategy Executive who will work closely with the General Manager (GM) of MGM Alternative, Big Fish Entertainment and Evolution Media to develop & execute business strategies and drive operational excellence. This role is dedicated to (a) strategy and planning tasks, (b) devising and implementing best business practices to improve operations, and (c) identifying, developing, and managing strategic initiatives for the division to drive growth.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify, develop and manage strategic initiatives to drive business and P&L performance, ensuring we're maximizing revenue growth.
• Author business documents that communicate the state of the business and recommend new initiatives.
• Identify and establish goals, related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to ensure that the division meets these goals.
• Execute ad hoc projects, including business presentations and documents.
• Liaise with Finance for the development of annual and long-term plans.
• Identify and build business rationales for new areas of investment, developing financial/business models as needed.
• Regularly inspect the effectiveness of operating mechanisms and implement improved approaches including ways to optimize resources.
• In addition to teams within the division (Creative and Production), work cross-functionally with Business & Legal Affairs, Finance, PR/Communications, Finance, and other Amazon divisions to identify new initiatives and drive them through to execution.
About the team
Candidate will work closely with senior leadership/department heads in LA, NY and UK, focused on expansion and increasing margins. Finding and creating opportunities for efficiencies and growth.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Candidates must have extensive, current experience in branded integrations and brand content, with a track record of bringing in 7-figures annually for unscripted television production
• 10-15+ years engaging with senior executives, preferably in: Strategy, Business operations,
Program management, Business development
• Entertainment industry experience strongly preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Extensive Knowledge of the reality TV business, past and present.
• Passion for entertainment, particularly unscripted content.
• Ability to create and present decks, write effective emails, comfortable researching, cold-calling, networking, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $268,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Salary Details
Salary Range: $125,500 to $268,500 Per Year ($ USD)
