Job Description
Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video, in addition to producing Original content.We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Theatrical Distribution team, leading strategic marketing initiatives for our studio releases. This role combines creative marketing leadership with operational excellence to drive successful theatrical campaigns and foster valuable industry partnerships.
As Marketing Manager, you will spearhead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies across multiple channels, while building and maintaining crucial relationships with exhibitors and partners. You'll manage in-theater marketing specific initiatives for film promotions, oversee campaign budgets and ensure alignment with broader studio objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in entertainment marketing, demonstrated success in partnership development, and proven ability to drive measurable business results in the theatrical space.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Direct comprehensive theatrical marketing campaigns for studio releases
- Design and implement innovative promotional strategies across multiple channels
- Oversee title-specific marketing programs and on-screen promotional content
- Lead digital and social media activations and in-theater events
- Partnership & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with exhibitors and key partners
- Negotiate partnerships to create value-driven promotional opportunities
- Establish new revenue streams through creative collaborations
- Drive business growth through strategic alliances
Team & Project Leadership
- Lead and mentor the In-Theatre Marketing team
- Manage resource allocation and campaign budgets
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with studio marketing teams and external agencies
- Ensure efficient execution of marketing initiatives
Performance & Analytics
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics
- Measure ROI on marketing initiatives
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape
- Implement industry best practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
- Minimum 3years of experience in theatrical distribution and/or marketing within the entertainment industry
- Proven track record in partnership development and campaign management
- Strong leadership skills with expertise in strategic planning and execution
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and marketing technology
- Advanced Excel skills and overall proficiency in
- Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $78,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
