Audit Supervisor

Job Description

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking an Audit Supervisor to be responsible for all internal diligence with outside auditors, as well as the day-to-day handling of fieldwork and third-party communications. The audit team is responsible for managing the examination of MGM's books and records by third party participations, guilds and others, claims analysis and the department's monthly financial close, among other tasks. The Audit Supervisor will be responsible for supervising analyst-level employee and will work in coordination with a team of paralegals.

Responsibilities:
• Audit
• Manage the day-to-day operation of assigned third-party audits
• Liaise with in-house production staff, in-house outside payroll service providers, and third-party auditors
• Review the work of the assigned audit analyst
• Ensure compliance with internal protocols governing audits
• Close
• Participate in the department's monthly financial close process
• Review and approve all close-related analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal protocols governing the close
• Other
• Serve as a resource for the reporting and residuals teams
• Assist in managing SAP training
• Assist in creating and/or reviewing staff reference materials
• Participate in systems, process, and tool development
• Participate in staff development and training

Requirements:
• A.A./B.S. with a major or minor in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred
• Minimum five years of experience with at least three in entertainment audits
• Excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with SAP
• Exceptional Excel proficiency
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to meet deadlines
