Who are we hiring?
The Senior Data Analyst will work with departments across Madison Square Garden Entertainment, Madison Square Garden Sports, and Sphere Entertainment to leverage customer insight through data analysis and statistical models. The Senior Data Analyst will provide advanced analytical capabilities that will aid in creating efficiencies and driving revenue.
What will you do?
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs and properly design model workflows to ensure the output matches the business case
• Gather and prepare data to perform model and feature selection, and leverage hyperparameter tuning to optimize model performance
• Create reporting around model performance, quality, and drift
• Perform quantitative analyses to assist with insights to inform business strategy
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency across the business.
• Work with vendors and internal resources to ensure data quality
• Document work processes and activities
• Recommend and Implement process improvements and best practices to advance analytical capabilities
What do you need to s/ucceed?
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics
• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst role
• Experience using Python
• Ability to program end-to-end model pipelines, leveraging scripting languages and tools
• Ability to develop cross functional relationships
• Ability to clearly communicate complex findings and take a proactive approach with project management.
• Unify stakeholders across multiple projects with the goal of achieving the highest probability of success.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• ability to explain complex analytical concepts in shorthand to a broad audience
• Strong MS Office skill level (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
Pay Range
$75,000 - $105,000 USD
