Title: Coordinator, Alumni Programming & Content Administration

Department: Marketing, Communications & Broadcasting

Reports to: Director, Digital and Print Publications and Alumni Relations

Status: Part-Time

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00/hour*
*Compensation rates vary based on job-related factors, including experience, job skills, education, and training.

The Coordinator, Alumni Programming and Content Administration will support the Director, Digital and Print Publications and Alumni Relations in marketing, community, sponsorship, ticketing and sales initiatives. The role will also support the Director, Digital and Print Publications and Alumni Relations in the development of revenue, content and community impact opportunities for the organization.

The Coordinator, Alumni Programming and Content Administration will intake requests, conceptualize, help strategize and complete projects that ensure positive experiences for Dodgers Alumni and partners that also benefit the organization. The Coordinator, Alumni Programming and Content Administration works with Dodger Alumni and internal and external groups to book, coordinate and provide support for the appearances, and ensure that payment is completed.

The Coordinator, Alumni Programming and Content Administration will support the Director, Digital and Print Publications and Alumni Relations with administrative duties for Dodgers Digital and Print Publications.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Secure Dodger Alumni for internal and external appearance requests for marketing, PR, social media, LADF, Community Relations, sponsorship, ticketing and sales
• Collaborate with Player Relations, Public Relations and Community Relations staff on initiatives that relate to Alumni Relations
• Sets schedule for Alumni appearances, provides appearance fees (whenever appropriate), secures/confirms players, arranges video/photography, transportation, security and staffing for appearance, etc.
• Provides support for pregame alumni-related activities (securing, confirming and reminding the alumni); facilitates pregame meet and greets; provides assistance with guests and coordinates all logistics
• Supports Director, Digital and Print Publications and Alumni Relations in crafting proposals, coordinating all aspects of programs with appropriate departments (i.e. Marketing, Ticket Operations, Group Sales, Ballpark Operations, etc.), facilitating logistics, staffing, securing photography/videography coverage, and recognition (thank you letters, club recognition, recap reports, etc.)
• Records and logs appearances
• Leverages relationships with Alumni to facilitate content opportunities
• Assists with team-related requests (corporate, client, and in-ballpark); Reviews and fulfills ticket requests
• Helps identify new working relationships with Alumni and provides stewardship
• Engages in cross collaboration throughout the organization to resolve needs for autographed items (Sales for group incentives, Global Partnerships, for sponsors, coordinates the ordering and delivery of items, works with alumni to schedule autograph sessions
• Orders supplies that support Alumni programming (for example, jerseys, Adult Camp supplies, signage)
• Partners with the Executive Vice President and Director as needed
• Collaborates with other departments within the organization to strategically build positive publicity for the Club
• Provides on-site support for Dodgers Alumni event programming (i.e. Adult Camp, Foundation and Community Relations events, Global Partnership events)
• Helps curate and craft content for Dodger content channels, such as Dodger Insider and Dodger Yearbooks, Dodgers social media
• Serves as a liaison for third-party support (such as printers, freelancers) for Dodger Publications
• Collects, organizes and analyze data and identifies efficiencies
• Supports Director, Digital and Print Publications and Alumni Relations on Spanish-language initiatives
• Represents the Club in a positive and professional manner at all times
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sports Management or Communication fields preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years’ work experience
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in fast paced environment
• Must have a can-do attitude and team oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and work with players, alumni and staff at all levels
• Innovative, creative and ability to think outside the box
• Positive demeanor, encouraging and team oriented
• Ability to work in tandem with internal and external customers, with a positive customer service attitude
