Featuring a built-in DJ booth, vinyl-lined walls, intimate lighting, and a refined food and beverage program, The Vinyl Room offers a sanctuary of warmth and exclusivity inside the iconic Hollywood Palladium.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Serve as the first and most important point of contact for Vinyl Room guests, members, and high-profile clients.
• Greet every guest with warm, composed professionalism that reflects the listening lounge aesthetic.
• Manage guest flow, check-ins, and seating assignments with precision to maintain ambiance and service rhythm.
• Provide guidance to guests on Vinyl Room amenities, programming, menu offerings, and exclusive experiences within VR and Palladium.
• Proactively upsell premium seating, membership upgrades, and nightly lounge access to concert patrons both inside and outside the venue.
• Track upsell conversions and communicate opportunities to the Ops Director for nightly reporting.
• Maintain the appearance of the lobby, check-in area, and entry pathways to meet Vinyl Room standards.
• Relay membership inquiries, VIP notes, and guest feedback to Operations Director and marketing teams.
• Give proper recognition to Live Nation Executives, Members and VIP clients to instill appreciation for their membership and patronage.
• Coordinate operations on night of shows with Ops Director, servers and security.
• Maintain articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with the current audience.
• Maintain exemplary and professional grooming standards.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, problem solving.
• Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
Great To Have:
• Experience in selling memberships or upsells.
• Background working with high-end, VIP clients or members of a social club.
• Appreciation of music.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$17.60 USD - $22.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
