Job Description
THE JOBThe Campground Manager will oversee all operations within the campground, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests. This role requires the ability to manage large-scale event operations, balancing high-volume guest logistics with financial accountability. The Campground Manager must demonstrate strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to safety and service. This role will report to venue General Manager and works closely with other departments to align on operational and financial goals while serving as the primary decision-maker for campground operations.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Operational Oversight
• Manage all campground operations, including traffic and parking, security, ticket sales, guest services, and on-site vendor/contractor performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Serve as the primary decision-maker for campground operations during events.
P&L Responsibility
• Own the campground budget as a standalone business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Monitor and manage expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Develop strategies to optimize revenue streams, including pricing and promotional initiatives.
Staff Management
• Recruit, train, and develop seasonal staff into reliable leads/supervisors.
• Provide direct guidance and support to campground leads and staff.
• Approve schedules for campground staff and third party vendors ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to operational needs.
Communication and Coordination
• Work closely with venue management to align operational and financial goals.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure a cohesive approach to campground management.
Policy Enforcement
• Review, retain, and enforce all Live Nation campground policies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and safety codes in addition to company standards.
• Implement and oversee campground safety and emergency response protocols.
Guest Experience
• Enhance the guest experience by implementing feedback mechanisms and addressing concerns promptly.
• Develop and maintain systems for service recovery, crowd management, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain solution-based atmosphere that allows for creative problem solving.
Training and Development
• Oversee the training and evaluation of campground staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards. This includes the creation of training materials.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement among team members.
Reporting and Analysis
• Analyze operational data and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop best practices based on performance metrics
• Prepare reports on campground performance and present findings to management.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Proven experience in campground, festival, or large-scale event management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse seasonal teams of 100+ staff.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with proven crisis management and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, permits, and best practices in campground operations.
• Financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budgeting, and expense control.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
