LN Concerts, Venue Application Analyst (Temp)
THE JOB
Please note this is a temporary role expected to last 3 months but term will depend on business need. Extension possible. The Venue Applications Analyst plays a pivotal role by ensuring technology at our venues functions seamlessly. Whether inputting system data or troubleshooting technical issues, the Venue IT Services Division supports thousands of end-user operators throughout our amphitheaters, clubs, and theatres. Stakeholders throughout Live Nation rely on consistent, accurate data to make informed business decisions and operate IT applications efficiently. Point-of-Sale (PoS) applications support is the focus of the role, although VAST supports a variety of systems. This role provides nearly all support remotely, but onsite venue engagements throughout the US are not uncommon. The work location for this role is flexible within the US.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Input application data: retail items, employee credentials, reporting objects, etc.
• Adhere to meticulous processes for maintaining system data integrity
• Maintain established SKU-based data structures for enterprise-level reports
• Test new versions of software frequently and thoroughly
• Document frequency of issues and escalate systemic problems accordingly
• Provide exceptional customer service to users
• Author end-user guides to improve understanding & usability of the system for operators
• Establish processes to administer complex systems with improved accuracy and efficiency
ATTRIBUTES
• Minimum 1-year experience supporting enterprise applications, preferably point-of-sale systems
• Exceptional attention to detail for identifying patterns and curating obscure system data
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas and pivot tables
• Familiarity with multi-location enterprises and unifying different data sources
• Diligence in troubleshooting complex problems with little information to reach resolution
• Ability to reprioritize tasks rapidly without missing deadlines in an ever-changing business
• Exceptional professionalism through written and verbal communications
• Positive, team-first attitude and consistent interest for the subject matter
• A technology/analytics credential from an accredited university will help, but is not required
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, possibly skewed seasonally
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment; lifts up to 20 pounds; crouch/kneel/bend/reach and stand/walk regularly for several hours at a time when installing or supporting technology at venues; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels while working from central office; exposed to large crowds, high volumes of noise, and sometimes outdoor conditions during onsite venue support; travel may require flying, driving, or using mass transit.
