THE VENUE BRAND MANAGEMENT TEAM

THE JOB

The Training & Curriculum Manager will focus on the creation and assessment of training programs on the Venue Brand Management Team. This position will play a vital role with learning the nuances of each individual team member and how they learn, research best practices in Adult Learning Theory, have experience in cohort-style learning, design recommended training programs, and aid in measuring the success of each program.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Serve as the primary creator of cohesive team-wide training materials and assist in the creation of curriculum plans that tie directly to Live Nation and Media & Sponsorship goals
• Analyze learning needs and partner with subject matter experts to provide input for technical training to enhance team processes (i.e. TRAK software utilization, asset fulfillment, finance, the sales process, etc.)
• Assist in establishing a team-wide training calendar for technical trainings and soft-skill trainings that will happen during strategic points throughout the year
• Facilitate technical trainings as a crucial part of the new hire experience and for existing team members on a regular cadence
• Establish feasible timeframes to achieve any set goals and objectives outlined in the curriculum
• Monitor and analyze training program effectiveness by managing and improving the existing methods to examine learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement
• Research, identify, and utilize adult learning methodologies for the assessment of training needs, such as intake questionnaires, interviews, team surveys, etc
• Develop and grow relationships with key Live Nation teams (i.e., Digital and social media, Promotions, Legal, Finance, etc.) to assist in creating well-rounded, updated, and intentional training programs
• Act as a liason with the above mentioned teams and the Venue Brand Management team when new processes or products are updated
• Audit, re-design and develop long-term governance plan to oversee the effectiveness of the Venue Brand Management team intranet
• Assist in the research of existing Live Nation Learning Management System(s) to host all self-guided and technical training curriculum
• Explore learning trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to add value to training programs and share with direct leadership, Senior Brand Directors and other teams as applicable

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of work experience in education, training, instructional design, program management or any other related field
• Excellent understanding of adult learning theory and methodologies (cohort, experiential, transformational, and project based learning)
• Quick learner with strong analytical skills and detail oriented with exceptional creative judgement
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, prioritize, organize, and coordinate simultaneous tasks/projects
• Growth mindset with proven track record for trying new, innovative approaches
• Collaborative and personable spirit with a passion for developing impactful and intentional programs to level up the team
• Ability to quickly adapt and adjust projects to new division expectations and company directives
• Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and other design tools (Canva, Miro, etc)
• Strong passion for analyzing trends, identifying learning gaps, and finding the root cause of issues to advise on the best possible solution
