Role

Stage crew is a junior position within the team, responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to the effective and smooth running of events at
O2 Academy Bristol . You will be passionate about the entertainment industry and highly motivated to deliver an outstanding experience to all clients and customers.

The successful c andidate will be contributing to an innovative team to ensure high quality service, driving our inclusive culture to deliver the best possible programme of live entertainment for everyone, where collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.

About you
• Interest in the live entertainment and event production industry
• Knowledgeable about music
• Ability to work as part of a team, take instruction and support others
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
• Proficient computer user with ability to learn technical equipment
• Self-motivated and results driven

• First-class client and customer service
• Passionate and enthusiastic for the live events industry
• Flexibility to work irregular hours (weekends/evenings/public holidays)
• Willingness to build positive working relationships
• A proactive organiser in problem-solving who can negotiate solutions

What you'll be doing
• Working as stage crew for events hosted at the venue
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Loading equipment to the stage
• Assisting touring productions to rig their shows
• Getting band equipment on and off the stage during a show
• Packing down and loading out
• Assisting the venue technical team during clubnights
• Work collaboratively with the venue team
• Adhere to all existing and new health and safety legislation
• Comply with all Company guidelines and working practices
• To publicly represent the venue and Company in a professional manner
