Sr. Financial Analyst – Touring Finance

The Role:

The Touring Finance Department is in search of a highly motivated individual to join its team as Senior Financial Analyst. We are looking for an individual who is both passionate about music and possesses a professional work ethic. This is an opportunity to be a key player in the Operations Finance Team, leading processes and working with finance, operations and executive teams.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly forecasting process for national and worldwide touring events
• Review monthly data loads for accuracy, identifying and working with appropriate teams to resolve issues
• Work with the Tour Booking Team on analysis and forecasting of show predictions
• Provide timely, accurate and meaningful financial analysis of variances between actuals and forecast, budget and prior year
• Build financial models, interpret data and create reporting to provide management with meaningful analysis of both event activity and overhead costs
• Collaborate with data analytics team on system upgrades related to tour reporting
• Support Tour Analysts and Booking Team by providing reporting and reviewing financial results and operational metrics on an ongoing basis; Work with Accounting team as needed
• Track tour-related cash including advances to artist, ensuring compliance with internal policies, contractual agreements and GAAP guidance; prepare monthly and quarterly schedules for Accounting and Reporting teams
• Identify and lead process improvement projects to automate and streamline current processes, in order to maximize the contribution to strategic and business goals
• Other duties and ad hoc analysis, as opportunities arise

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance or related field
• 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
• Advanced MS Excel skills, and proficiency in PowerPoint
• Strong data management and software skills including Salesforce, Business Objects and SAP BPC with the ability to both create and troubleshoot reporting
• Self-starter with a positive team-focused attitude and ability to make independent decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to meet critical deadlines by balancing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility with hours to accommodate workload fluctuations
