WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

We are currently seeking a Task Force Manager to support system needs and in market sales across the portfolio. This role is responsible for helping with the daily client support in an assigned venue(s), event oversight and execution, financial reviews and projections, daily portfolio systems support & systems training of our newly on-boarded DOS'. This role will be a critical link between our clients, account leadership and our corporate team. The position reports directly to the VP of Special Events. This is a perfect opportunity for those who have a sense of adventure, are self-reliant, self-motivated and able to adapt and work in a variety of situations.

Responsibilities:
• Task force support to fill in as Special Event leader, as assigned, within the various US Special Event venue/locations
• Travel up to 40% at/within our national locations
• Ability to reside in assigned US location(s) and work from assigned venue(s) for consecutive days
• Role will require coverage of multiple venues in multiple markets at any given time
• Adheres to department SOP's
• Supports strategies and conducts activities to drive market share, guest satisfaction and financial results
• Proactively manage and respond to Special Event related opportunities
• Creates proposals, contracts, BEO's/SEO's, invoices, manages payments, invoicing, close out events, etc.
• Month end reporting and protocols
• Upsells event opportunities to maximize profit
• Achieves individual and team sales goals to enable business success
• Adheres to job description for assigned vacant role
• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
• Effectively manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Provides the highest level of customer service by incorporating client needs into our practices
• Conducts site inspections
• Assists in forecasting, budgeting and adherence to strategic initiatives
• Interacts with management, team members, clients and guests
• Strong customer service skills ensuring timely and accurate resolutions to clients concerns and employees
• Ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels with clients
• Assist VP of Sales' in facilitating team member Special Event system needs
• Supports Special Event training, on-boarding & off-boarding
• Capital Expenditure Request (CER) market research
• New venue playbook oversight in tandem with VP of Sales
• Assist with market rebrands
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required
• Working knowledge of special event operations, computers (Windows environment, spreadsheet, databases, word processing) and guest relations
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Strong organization skills and time management
• Skilled in interpersonal communications, organizational concepts and financial knowledge
• Ability to delegate, follow up, relate to staff, guests and clients in a positive effective manner
• Three or more years sales experience in the hospitality industry
• Ability to walk and stand for long period of time
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
• Ability to reside and work within various assigned US markets for consecutive days
• Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends)
• High school diploma required
• Have a sense of adventure, self-reliant, self-motivated and able to adapt and work in a variety of situations
