THE TEAM
This position would be in the Checkout Team at Ticketmaster. This team is responsible for providing a blazing fast and smooth checkout experience for our fans. We help fans make their dreams a reality by securing them the tickets they want.
THE JOB
At Ticketmaster, we are building a new platform for live entertainment. Today we sell tickets not only on Ticketmaster.com but on partner e-commerce sites and the biggest social networks. As we continue to grow we need outstanding Java engineers on our Checkout team to help us build a brand new Checkout Experience which is completely serverless. That's where you come in. This role is approximately 70% backend, 30% frontend work. With multiple deployments to production in a day, enjoy a fast-paced, energetic work environment with opportunities to lead feature development efforts soup to nuts, irrespective of your title.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Write and review Java / Javascript code
• Work in an agile environment
• Participate in designing technical solutions
• Partner with product owners
• Work as an individual contributor in a squad
TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related preferred
• 3+ years relevant work experience in a Java ecosystem
• Work experience in AWS
• JavaScript and React.JS
• Kubernetes
• Previous work with Agile and Lean practices preferred
• Kafka streaming
• Passion for learning, collaborating and building
