Senior Touring Analyst

Job Description

The Role:

The Touring Finance Department is in search of a highly motivated individual to join its team. We are looking for an individual who is both passionate about music and possesses a professional work ethic.

Responsibilities
• Management of financial accounting and tracking of both nationwide and worldwide tours for multiple artists, as part of the support team for Talent Booking
• Reviewing and applying deal terms according to tour contract specifications
• Review and reconciliation of show settlement files and support documents
• Preparation of artist payments related to shows and contractual obligations
• Preparation of various weekly and monthly internal and external management reports
• Assisting with preparation of monthly events forecast
• Reconciling tour activity to General Ledger in conjunction with Accounting team
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing audit support as needed
• Building and fostering relationships with Tour Promoters and Directors, Project Managers, Local Accountants and Road Staff
• Provide additional support to Talent Booking as needed
• Assisting with training of and mentoring junior staff
• Identifying and leading process improvement projects to automate and streamline current processes, in order to maximize the contribution to strategic and business goals
• Additional opportunities in Finance functions as they arise

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field
• 4 - 6 years of related work experience, Entertainment industry preferred
• Must be flexible, self-starter, growth-oriented and motivated team player
• Strong communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as external clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours based on tour needs, including evenings and weekends particularly during busy season
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Software experience preferred but not required: Business Objects, Salesforce
