THE TEAM

The eCommerce ticketing integration team architects solutions, sells, and manages global and national corporate sponsorship programs with the world's most recognizable brands. This exciting fast-paced team collaborates with facets of both the Ticketmaster and Live Nation business and engineering ecosystems, including ticketing, payments, membership rewards, and brand promotions. THE JOB

We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join Ticketmaster. You will own end to end testing of key Ticketmaster features. An excellent candidate will have a passion for quality and express creative thought-leadership in all aspects testing. You'll collaborate with multiple teams in our engineering organization to come up with testing strategies and plans, to ensure smooth delivery of new features and updates.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Lead testing automation and CI/CD efforts, and empower Engineering tship new features/fixes to deliver quality outcome
• Work closely with Engineering and Architecture to develop test tools, and to facilitate testability within our applications (Mobile and Web)
• Develop test plans, scenarios and test cases for functional, regression and system-level test activities against product and business requirements for our applications
• Establish and evolve effective quality processes, and apply/advocate for software development lifecycle best-practices and agile approaches
• Use data to define metrics that provide visibility into the quality of our services.
• Mentor your team members to teach them quality-related concepts, and to facilitate improvement and expansion of test coverage
• Participate in the development of the QA pipeline, test plans, and checklists to verify the functionality and performance of new features and apps
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering in an open and creative way to define test strategies, including manual and automation testing
• Identify and drive improvements in engineering methodologies to ensure industry-leading system quality and team efficiency

TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• 5+ years of experience in software test and quality engineering.
• 2+ years of working with agile processes (i.e., Scrum/Kanban models).
• Experience with back-end test automation frameworks (e.g. BDD, REST
• Assured, pytest, Karate, etc.)
• Experience with frontend test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium
• Webdriver, Cypress, etc.)
• Proficient with version control software (e.g. GitHub) and issue/project
• tracking software (e.g. Jira)
• Experience with any OOP languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, C#, or
• similar.
• Experience with stored procedures and SQL queries in data testing.
• Experience with API, debugging, and proxying tools (e.g. Postman, curl,
• Chrome Dev Tools, Charles Proxy, Wireshark, etc.).
• Experience with Jenkins or similar build tools.
• Experience with qTest or similar test suite/case management tools.
• Experience with all types of testing including regression, performance stress, unit, API and integration testing.
