WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Ensure Latin America financials are following US GAAP standards and SOX Compliance guidelines
• Reconciliation of Latin America event P&Ls and Show Settlements
• Assist locals and SA team with Corporate Reporting – Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliation to Third Party Latin America Systems
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and enter month-end journal entries
• Maintain internal control policies, assist in audits, and liaise with internal auditors.
• Maintain, control, and reconcile complex accounts.
• Assist with quarterly reporting and special projects as assigned.
• Maintains and Reconciles Monthly Eliminations of IFRS adjustments.
• Position primarily office-based, may require travel to events and working evenings plus occasional weekends for month-end close and show settlements.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Master's degree in accounting, CPA or CPA candidate
• 3-5 years of accounting experience – preferably Big 4 (Audit & Entertainment Experience a Plus)
• SOX and US GAAP experience - Highly desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Project Management Experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong analytical skills and organization skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
• Oracle and SAP experience is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish required
• Bilingual Portuguese preferred
