The JOB
The Echo Lounge & Music Hall Marketing Manager, under guidance of the Venue General Manager and Regional Marketing Management Team, will be responsible for executing multiple strategies that drive the success of marketing efforts including the development and presentation of marketing plans to artist representatives, direction and implementation of local marketing promotions and management, management of multiple event advertising budgets events at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall, as well as updating show information across venue touchpoints (website, app, social), QC and updating of email automations, plus the coordination and delivery of marketing assets supporting venue hospitality and ancillary products.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Act as the key internal contact with various stakeholders to prepare, present and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for multiple Live Nation events at the venue.
• Serve as the primary local contact for artist marketing representatives regarding venue and show marketing plans. Partner with the local talent buying team to manage the success of events at the venue.
• Develop impactful promotions for events using multiple regional media partners.
• Compile and share extensive audience and artist demographic information to shape the development of marketing plans.
• Identify and activate new strategic marketing partners to enhance artist and venue exposure in the community.
• Ensure all necessary show marketing information is input into Live Nation proprietary marketing tools.
• Coordinate multiple teams of experts to successfully execute marketing campaigns inclusive of, but not limited to, advertising, media events & PR, and content creation.
• Compile advertising settlement documents as needed for local events.
• Work with internal stakeholders to provide post-show marketing analytics recaps to artists.
• Maximize show awareness on venue socials, in emails, on websites, and in-venue.
• Coordinate street team and grassroots marketing efforts with local market contacts.
• Update and maintain venue website and app and maintain quality control (ensure show information is up to date, work with partners to ensure F&B, Ancillaries & Special Event content is updated as necessary and represented) .
• Execute fan communication plans to ensure key information reaches guests before each event via email, social, website, and app.
• Maintain & QC data extensions for venue email automation.
• Manually build and manage fan communications in case of emergency following Live Nation policies and procedures.
• Lead social planning and publishing.
• Ensure creative assets are created and delivered for future show support, concert calendar, food & beverage, health, and safety support as needed.
• Create and manage venue-level creative assets for onsite & digital needs (monthly & weekly show calendars).
• Manage asset placement in digital video signage (concert vision, etc.).
• Coordinate approvals and execution of promotional sweepstakes.
• Oversee onsite activations to help drive name acquisition for future show marketing needs.
• Work across PR, tour & regional marketing to coordinate onsite coverage for day of show marketing needs supporting radio partners, meet and greets, press photographers.
• Confirm and maintain proper sponsorship placements as needed across digital, website, app, social, and onsite signage.
• Day of show event coverage as necessary
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 3+ years of prior experience in event assisting/planning or marketing experience within an entertainment, sports or public assembly facility setting.
• Experience working with artist marketing representatives is preferred.
• Experience managing local media relationships is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to professionally present marketing concepts and strategies to artist management.
• Deep interest in discovering new music and marketing a wide variety of genres and emerging artists.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure, deadline driven, team environment while juggling multiple tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
• Ability to work day, evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations
• Extensive experience with Facebook, Instagram, Instagram stories, Twitter.
• Ability to use social media scheduling platforms like Sprinklr and Sprout.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite skills
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and multimedia management software.
• Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools.
