THE JOB

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager (RARM) will be responsible for the consistent guidelines and application thereof that generate licensed and locally procured Merchandise, Premier Parking, Lawn chair, Reserved Lawn, Fast Lane, VIP Club upgrades, Future Ticket Sales and other upsell revenue. The RARM will spend time traveling to different amphitheaters across the region applying best practices to drive revenue.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will be responsible for assisting the Venue's General Manager, Merchandise Room Manager, and Ancillary Revenue Manager on marketing, pricing, and revenue management for all concert events, working with General Managers and the national venue marketing team to drive meaningful upsells on each event through click-throughs on fan journeys and other promotions.
Once trained in the use of Ticketmaster, Park Hub, and atVenu, they will assist the box office and merchandise managers with building upsells for each amphitheater show, including but not limited to, Premier Parking, Block Party, VIP Club, Lawn Chair Rentals, combination tickets and reserved lawn.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will be responsible for discussing pricing strategies and regional learnings with the Venue General Manager or their representatives for each show, driving best practices and improvements as shows play off.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will be responsible for creating a revenue growth plan for each of their assigned venues, focused on capturing additional sales wherever possible. This may involve the request of capital expenditures during annual budgeting.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will actively participate in team building and recruiting activities, helping ensure that the Merchandise Room Manager has an appropriate pool of team members to schedule events. This may also extend to evaluating the assigned Room Manager and either improving their performance or making the decision to replace them.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will be responsible for the training of Merchandise Room Managers on process, procedure, staffing, and personnel management. They will also be responsible for the Room Manager's training of local team members on best practices, customer interaction, and Live Nation decorum standards.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager is responsible for all aspects of successful merchandise operations at each of their venues. This includes visual presentation, developing appropriate staffing models, ensuring adequate inventory of licensed products is available, as well as the overall customer experience. The RARM must be an expert user of atVenu and fully versed in its proper usage within the context of show operations. It may also require accommodating special requests from touring artists, as advanced prior to shows.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will support the timely payment of touring artists as well as additional local companies that are supporting overall merchandise operations. They are also responsible for reviewing all show settlement paperwork for completeness and accuracy, including timesheets for the venue's merchandise sales team.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will provide oversite and leadership for ancillary product sales at their assigned venues. This may entail working directly with the venue's Ancillary Revenue Manager, team staffing, or product acquisition for sales, depending on venue need.

The Regional Ancillary Revenue Manager will work directly with third-party vendors to build a strong, transparent working relationship consistently. Third-party vendors may vary from tour merchandise companies to technology partners to local organizations that provide labor at venues. It is the job of the RARM to ensure that Live Nation's ongoing relationship with critical parties is consistently maintained.

Qualifications:
• Required
• • Working knowledge of local and regional markets, concerts operations, or related experiences
• • Hands-on expertise using technology and industry standard software applications - spreadsheets, databases, word processing (Windows environment) and guest relations
• • Skilled in interpersonal communications and team-building, able to partner with people across business groups and career levels
• • Knowledgeable in organizational concepts
• • Understanding of corporate finance, budgeting processes and standardized reporting procedures
• • Significant experience supporting guest relations and customer experience management
• • 3-5 years of experience in the sports/entertainment/concert industry; experience in retail/merchandise sales and/or food & beverage sales highly preferred
• • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, most frequently during April – October time frame
• • Ability to walk and stand for long period of time.
• • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds.
• • Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends).
• • High school diploma required
