Job Description

This position exercises overall responsibility for facility operations and employee management by performing the following duties personally or through others.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position will supervise a large number of non-exempt part-time staff.
Oversee and insure execution of all operating department compliance policies and procedures

Motivated and experienced individual. Responsible for managing all aspects of facility operations, including but not limited to, front of house operations, preventive maintenance, third party contracting, limited governmental relationships and staffing. Candidate is a proven leader with strong management and communications skills. Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management required.

Recruits, hires, trains, schedules, and supervises part-time staff/supervisors including but not limited to: Security, Maintenance, merchandise, coat check and Cleaning departments.

Working with General Manager, assist in the preparation of annual operations budget.

Maintains and monitors records of all incident reports, Responds to customer feedback.

Ensure optimum operating condition of all facility equipment, such as parking and crowd control devices.

Implementation and execution of all Live Nation policies, procedures and programs.

Coordinate and manages approved subcontractors and third party vendors to ensure safe, efficient and successful events.

Effectively manages all employee data, time off tracking, and payroll for in-house departments. Maintains records of staff trainings, evaluations, and oversees incentive programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Maintain all required governmental reports and files.

Education and/or Experience
• Minimum two years experience as House/Operations Manager in a comparable position.
• Supervisory experience managing large numbers of employees, including Security, Ticket Takers and Ushers.
• Knowledge of local ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to public assembly and a food and beverage operation.
• Computers skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience with Workday, ABI/TMSS
• Experience settling shows preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills essential

Certifications, Licenses or Registration

Must or able to obtain a Proprietary Private Security Officer or guard card.

Work Environment

The work environment is at the venue. The Facility work week varies from week to week and can be a seven day week with evenings, weekends and holidays often required.

Physical requirement requires the ability to work around loud music, crowds, hazers, strobe lights and the ability to climb stairs.
