THE JOB
We are in need of a part time Bookkeeper to join our Nashville office team. This role requires 2-3 days in office (approximately 20 hours per week). This is a one year temporary position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tracking for this division of Live Nation.
The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and accurately, as well as communicate efficiently with the Live Nation accounting team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to work part time in a fun environment in the live music business.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Create and track all invoices for relevant business sectors. Prepare basic financial reports relevant to AR and AP.
• Communicate efficiently with accounting team to track flow of all income and expenditures and insure proper categorization.
• Maintain office filing systems.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Work with management on budget updates as needed.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• College Degree preferred but not required
• Bookkeeping or Office Administration experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with the internet/web applications, MS word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional level writing, grammar and spelling skills.
• Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an extremely fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.
• Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive material with discretion.
• The ability to multi-task, organize and handle last minute projects.
