Working Hours: Full time (Monday and Thursdays, 9am start time essential - otherwise, flexibility can be considered)

Role Description

An exciting opportunity to put your MI , business analysis and reporting skills to use working with some of the best data there is - tracking the biggest tours for the biggest acts in the UK .

We are looking to hire two new members of our team -
one permanent and one FTC until March 2024.
O ur small team is unique and makes a big impact across Live Nation Music UK . We work predominantly with ticketing and operational data and provide a bridge between the operational side of the concert promotions business and E xecs making key business decisions. Data, insight and efficiency are at the core of everything we do.

We are looking for people with technical skills who w ill hit the ground running and drive forward our reporting & analysis capabilities. You'll have a determination for efficiency , a keen analytical eye and a need to make things better. In 2023 we' re launching Halo, a brand new i n-house software system designed by our team , to manage the thousands of tours we promote each year . W e want to build our team with two superstars who between them will create a brand new suite of reports and dashboards , turn the vast data we're capturing into actionable insight and ultimately , drive the business forward.

Who you are

You may have experience in the following roles:

Business analyst, data analyst, e xcel specialist, reporting specialist , insight analyst, reporting executive, management information analyst, ticketing analyst

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Demonstrable e xperience creating & enhancing automated and manual reports (via Excel and DataViz tools)
• Experience analysing large datasets and multiple data-sources
• Commerc i al experience using SQL
• Working knowledge of
one /all of the following: SSRS, Power BI, Salesforce
• Advanced Excel skills - you should be the person everyone in your team goes to!
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Clear & concise written communication skills
• Experience working with technical teams on system development and UAT (as an end - user) a bonus
• Previous experience working within a dynamic business within the music or entertainment industry would also be a bonus

What the role s include
• Issue & improve regular reports and business analysis updates ( predominantly Excel based )
• Design, create & manage brand-new suite of automated reports and dashboards
• Query complex ticketing databases using SQL
• Complete small to medium M anagement I nformation projects & provide insight to the business
• Critically assess & standardise current automated reporting codebase in SQL, SSRS & Power BI
• Manage the day - to - day running and development of Halo,
our new in-house inventory management system & help users resolve minor issues
• Respond to automated reporting queries & resolve issues
• Maintain data integrity throughout databases
• Build excellent relationships with the event ticketing, marketing and promotions team s
• Support Business Analysis team in any other duties as required & provide cover in their absence
