THE JOB

Artist Relations

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Responsible for the up-keep and preservation of the House of Blue's existing artwork and appearance. In other words, to fix the damages of the walls, and murals.
• Responsible for staining furniture when need be, and teak oiling the patio tables.
• To provide hand-painted signs and murals for the House of Blues and must be ok with critiques. For example: portraiture of famous musicians, and signs for the bathrooms
• Responsible for cleanliness of the tools, (Brushes, rollers, etc.), and keeping the work stations neat. For example: laying down drop cloths and cleaning up spills.
• Is to be on time and maintain a presentable appearance (To the best of your abilities), and follow policies listed in the handbook.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Should have the disciplined ability to render realistic portraits.
• Must have the ability to recreate logos and fonts, and restore existing artwork.
• Must be comfortable on ladders, and doing basic up-keep painting as well as creative painting.
• Must have week day availability
• Tolerance of loud noises
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
