Reports to: Head of Marketing and Senior Campaign Manager

Working Hours: Fixed Term – 12 months (with potential extension), full-time (40hrs) and additional time on-site over the summer season.

Role Description

We are seeking a talented in-house designer to deliver marketing and advertising artwork across our touring theatre shows and outdoor summer events. It is essential that you are creative with the ability to communicate your concept effectively. You will maintain and develop all aspects of graphic design for Cuffe and Taylor brands.

Festivals we promote include Lytham Festival, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Live at The Piece Hall, Forest Live and many more outdoor sites as well as numerous huge one day shows with internationally renowned artists.

You will be designing the full range of material associated with the event you are responsible for including everything from video promos, web and social media assets to onsite signage.

The role will suit a driven, passionate individual who 'thinks outside the box' creatively and can work to a very high level of detail in a fast-paced music events environment.

Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for UK festival markets, theatre and events
• Able to demonstrate design experience gained in a professional environment, preferably in the music industry
• Knowledge and broad experience of post-production techniques and formats
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premier.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a number of projects at one time.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced in producing work for both print and digital.
• The ability to produce high quality design across a range of mediums: key artwork, promos etc.

What the role includes
• Work on design projects that span print, web, digital media and promotional materials, collaborating closely with the promoters and marketing managers to deliver brand consistent artwork across a number of UK festivals and touring theatre shows.
• Have creative flair and an ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadline, as well as a willingness to push creative boundaries and be actively involved in strengthening the pre-existing artwork brand for each show.
• Contribute to all design related issues in Marketing Team meetings.
• Ensure all online elements are successfully delivered as part of the digital advertising and marketing campaign.
