Founders Entertainment - Partnerships Activation Director

Job Description

Founders Entertainment is currently looking for a Partnerships Activation Director to join their team! Founders Entertainment is the home of Governors Ball, Cat Bird and Sound on Sound festivals!

Responsibilities:
• Activation Advance & Account Management
• Responsible for overseeing sponsor site advance, sponsor marketing advance, and sponsor hospitality.
• Responsible for sharing final deal points and associated renderings with appropriate departments/vendors for sponsor onboarding.
• Work with Brand Partnerships & Strategy Manager to fulfill all sponsor marketing, social, and creative integration.
• Manage day to day comms with sponsors and appropriate festival teams, such as concessions, ticketing fulfillment partner, marketing, signage, and more.
• Work with site sponsor team on the advance of sponsor activation needs/requirements and track/share billable expenses with sponsors for post festival bill back approval.
• Advance catering, radio, credential, and parking needs for sponsors via the festival database.
• Manage sponsor contractual tickets and additional ticket buys.
• Hire and manage on-site sponsor client services team.
• Legal / Contracting / Insurance
• Oversee the contracting process from start to finish with all internal festival stakeholders and sponsor legal teams. • Responsible for transferring DPM to contract template and routing contracts for review.
• Responsible for overseeing timely approval and execution of contracts.
• Responsible for collecting COIs from contracted sponsors and third party vendors.
• Accounting
• Oversee invoicing pre festival and post festival • Pre Festival per sponsor contracts and hospitality tickets purchased
• Post Festival per approved sponsor bill back settlements
• Post Festival reconciliation with internal accounting teams
• A/R tracking alongside internal festival stakeholders
• Oversee the sponsorship activation budget per festival • Vendor payment tracking and submission to festival accounting systems
• Oversee the sponsorship bill back budget per festival • Vendor payment tracking and submission to festival accounting systems
• Biz Dev
• Research new business opportunities and potential sponsor integration for Founders operated events and non-risk event partners.
• Draft proposals, pitch proposals, and finalize deal point memos.
• Responsible for vetting deal points with appropriate departments

Experience:
• 3 - 5 + years experience
• Software experience required: MS Office & Google Suite
• Software experience a plus: Adobe Suite
• Detail oriented with strong follow through - able to organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Resourceful, solution-oriented, and able to maintain a positive attitude in high-stress situations
• Abilities to successfully balance both qualitative and quantitative information when recommending appropriate strategies and tactics
• Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours
