Job Description

Founders Entertainment promotes and produces unique concert experiences including concerts, tours and festivals of all shapes and sizes! We are currently looking for the perfect candidate to fill our open role of Director of Content & Social Media

Responsibilities:
- Lead content strategy and execution across all platforms for both Gov Ball and Sound on Sound. - Platforms include Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Spotify
- Manage and grow @foundersent Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn handles
- Strategize, plan, and create content to engage with audiences throughout the year
- Lead content plans around all announcements from inception to execution
- Monitor and respond to consumer comments and direct messages on all digital channels
- Hire and manage additional graphic designers, content creators, videographers when needed
- Conceptualize & develop advertising materials with Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing team
- Work with event sponsors on all marketing initiatives, including: - Collaboration with festival Video & Photography teams to publish short-form and long-form content that will live on festival channels and/or sponsor channels
- Live stream broadcast content
- Promotional giveaways
- Organize and archive all media from previous festivals
- Manage photographers and videographers for Gov Ball & Sound on Sound on-site, including sourcing/hiring/negotiating contracts, developing shot lists, collecting all content, and using content for festival and year-round social media and marketing efforts

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience working in social media, digital, marketing, social media, events, festivals, tech and/or design
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, takes initiative and fast learner
- Strong writing, proof-reading and copyediting skills
- Strong familiarity with Google Docs, Microsoft Excel
- Strong familiarity with digital marketing platforms, including Mailchimp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and/or InDesign) a plus
- Basic knowledge of event production & logistics
- Hard working, able to take direction and prioritize while juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Resourceful and detail-oriented
- Not afraid to ask for help
- Willing to step up and help out with tasks outside of their job description
- Available outside of typical work hours for festival-related work
