Contract type: Full-time hours, 8 months fixed term contract (estimated, November 2021 – June 2022)

Role Description

We are currently seeking a Festivals Booking Assistant who would like to pursue a career in the music and events industry, and who is ready to become a key member of the MAMA Festivals team. We're looking for an individual with a passion to excel in this administrative role, and who possesses excellent organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be a good planner and an all-round team player and have a huge passion for all genres of music.

What the role includes
• Working with the Head of Music to ensure all festival bookings have been completed and uploaded into the relevant Event Management Systems (EMS)
• Assisting The Head of Music across all festival shows. First Fifty, Road to TGE and The Great Escape
• Creating all artist profiles within each relevant EMS, organizing and uploading all information required concerning artist contracts, riders, and production requirements etc and to strict deadlines
• Working with the Head of Music to ensure festival schedulers are always accurate and updated.
• Oversee and organize all administrative tasks associated with artist offers, confirmations, invoicing and payments
• Supporting the Marketing on all announcement days and assist with maximizing coverage
• Working with the Head of Music and Marketing Managers to ensure all festival artwork has been approved by agents within set deadlines
• Amend artist contracts in line with Live Nation terms and manage deadlines for countersigned contracts and all invoicing
• Send relevant festival marketing assets to artists and encourage them to promote
• Liaise with artist representatives and secure exclusive content for festival marketing campaigns
• Help monitor any missing information on the website in accordance with line-up
• Help monitor any missing tech spec information or other production requests if required
• Compile spell checked lists of artists for each festival announcement
• Supporting the Head of Music across all other shows and live commitments including, but not limited to launch parties, pre-festival shows and industry showcases
• Assistance with artist accreditation and guest list related tasks
• Assistance with Artist Liaison volunteer rotas and briefings
