THE JOB

The Director of Project Finance will oversee all finance operations for Live Nation's destination events. This role is responsible for the company's long-term financial health and growth. Ideal candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. This candidate will join our expert team of passionate travel and music lovers. We produce intimate and exclusive experiences where everyone is a VIP and no detail is overlooked.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Oversee all company accounting operations, financial planning, and strategy
• Work with event leadership to develop forecasts and comprehensive budgets for each destination event
• Analyze and report on financial performance
• Update event and company budget forecasts throughout the year
• Ability to work between Finance and Operations to forecast accurate expense allocations and coding for all events
• Maintain clean and organized coding of all expenses
• Review and approve payment submissions with Live Nation, entering into quick books
• Ensure all payment requests are being processed and paid on time
• Work on hotel folio settlement
• Finalize event pre-settlement and event settlement with the Event Director and leadership team
• Ensure all payments are compliant and adhere to company-wide policies
• Assess, manage, and minimize company risk
• Implement and communicate financial policies and procedures to the team
• Oversee Finance team

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 5+ years experience as a finance manager or similar operations
• Event financial management experience
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Strong excel skills and a strong aptitude for math
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience working with foreign currencies
• Experience analyzing hotel folios
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting or finance
• Ability to get all tasks and assignments done in a timely manner, while managing your own workload and day to day schedule
• Ability to maintain, control and communicate deadlines, roadblocks, and escalations as needed
• Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate, problem solve, delegate, follow up, and communicate
• Willingness to adopt new project management tools and communication platforms as used by the company
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
