Ticketmaster's Client Marketing team leverages the largest database of live event fans in the world to deliver outstanding performance and return for clients through proprietary marketing products and services.

THE ROLE

The Marketing Director – Premium Services will oversee a team of Marketing Managers working closely with Ticketmaster's largest clients across the Sports, Arts, and Venues verticals. Marketing Managers are responsible for providing exceptional marketing and media account management support for their respective client portfolios including strategic guidance and recommendations across paid media, coordinating marketing campaigns across channels, and supporting client spend targets tied their specific accounts. The Marketing Director is accountable to performance media revenue goals and is responsible for overall team performance, staff development, and ensuring the team delivers against annual goals.

This focus of this role will be to drive continued growth of Ticketmaster's performance media services by motivating, coaching and supporting the team members who work with the highest profile, most sophisticated clients. The Director will work very closely with the Client Marketing SVP and Sr Director to ensure alignment of team with overall department goals and will build strong working relationships across key stakeholders across cross-functional Marketing, Media, and Account Management teams. This role will also work closely with and develop a strong working relationship with our Director of Digital Marketing, Planning & Strategy and will support Sr Managers and Managers as needed with their individual portfolio growth, retention, and prospecting.

Key requirements include: a proven track record of success driving revenue growth, a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies including programmatic display, paid social and SEM and managing top tier accounts in the context of performance media services. A successful Marketing Director will have experience managing and growing a team, the ability to manage many complex projects across multiple external and internal stakeholders simultaneously, excel in building deep relationships and supporting and advocating for their team.

This leader must be flexible, results-driven, and comfortable leveraging data and insights to help drive business decisions, develop new operating procedures, improve team performance, and create efficiency gains. They are dynamic, highly collaborative, and an excellent communicator. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills a must along with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop people.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure retention and growth of Ticketmaster's performance media services and client portfolio
• Manage an extensive performance media pipeline
• Track team's performance against revenue targets
• Prospect and support team as needed to influence executive and daily client contacts to execute on recommendations for continued growth and success
• Frame client opportunities and challenges to enroll cross-functional support
• Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and Ticketmaster Marketing Solutions aligned with client's unique business needs
• Serve as an internal ''expert'' on media solutions for Ticketmaster clients: understand unique business challenges/opportunities across segments, how to navigate their organizations and identify what solutions we can offer to help continue to drive innovation and offerings that deliver results and meet the goals of our clients
• Support growth targets by recommending cross-channel marketing solutions that deliver against client objectives
• Ensure Ticketmaster's Media Solutions are seen as highly valuable and key drivers of client campaign success
• Provide team members with added support as needed across media campaign strategy, planning, and managing paid media budgets
• Work with Media team leads across channels to explore, test, and implement new media technologies and solutions to improve our client's media strategies
• Align team around key objectives and help determine prioritization of initiatives. Guide team members as needed specific to nuances, challenges, or needs tied to their individual client portfolios
• Excellent prioritization skills a must
• Enjoy guiding employees in improving skills, experiences, and career growth
• Maintain knowledge of current live events industry news, events, trends, and integrate that knowledge and the implications into effective marketing solutions
• Communicate effectively and frequently with both clients and team, peers, and segment and product leaders
• Develop and deliver highly professional and persuasive presentations both for internal and external audiences
• Support Sr Director as needed with overall organization projects, training, and team growth and development
• Up to 25% travel required

REQUIREMENTS
• BA/BS in Marketing or a related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum of fifteen years' experience in similar role within the digital marketing industry
• Digital media agency experience required
• Proven understanding of digital media platforms and businesses, with expertise in at least one of these channels: SEM, programmatic display, paid social
• Strong quantitative skills including analytical abilities
• Ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues across the executive, mid- manager and day-to-day operations levels in a professional, service-oriented manner
• Creative problem-solver
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and comprehension skills, and the ability to adjust style to different audiences
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
• Understanding and interest in the business side of live events
• Very strong competence in Microsoft Office products- particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
