THE JOB
Live Nation is looking for a passionate and detail oriented Director of Creative Operations with a creative eye to ensure that the Venue Nation creative factory is operating at optimal performance through streamlined processes, tools and communication. You will be the heart of venue creative production and workflows from intake to asset delivery, manage and mentor a team of like minded project managers, drive creative products, build client and creative team relationships, measure our successes, look for new industry leading solutions, achieve deadlines and provide top notch customer service. Most importantly… you must have fun doing it.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for Venue Nation creative products, processes and capabilities
• Develop new and thoughtful creative solutions to enhance creative asset concepts and production
• Develop, manage and streamline creative workflows for brand, food & beverage, Premium seat & sales, special events, experience marketing, onsite operations, content, executive, and central creative needs
• Gain a deep understanding of venue creative tools and systems, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that support the efficiency of creative operations and ultimately drive the growth of the venue business
• Ensure the venue creative factory is operating at optimal performance through streamlined processes, tools and communication
• Oversee a team of Project Managers and Coordinators - cultivate career growth and ensure that the team is aligned to the same goals
• Collaborate with Venue Nation Creative team piers made up of graphic designers, creative directors, art directors, content creators, motion designers and editors
• Act as the key point of contact for external creative production resources and vendor partners.
• Maximize production efficiencies and costs
• Drive creative product launches including working with internal stakeholders, executives, and other operational team members
• Act as a creative product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Develop and provide training opportunities and creative information database on creative workflows and tools for stakeholders
• Setup and maintain a regular communication schedule with stakeholders
• Develop creative production analytics and reporting
• Work closely with Venue Nation creative lead to look for opportunities to enhance creative capabilities and output
• Develop creative request and project management workflow
• Manage venue creative assets through the use of a Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform
• Coordinate asset creation, provide art direction and place orders with external creative agencies
• Work with various teams to catalog creative specifications and requirements from Live Nation owned and operated venues
• Solicit feedback on creative products and services from key users of our products to identify areas for improvement
• Work efficiently within project management software platforms to establish status updates, communication and transparency
• Work closely with developers to deliver creative operational tools and enhancements with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Manage creative production costs and process invoices
• Maintain online creative informational hub
