Job Description

The goal of the IT Apprentice Program: Its primary purpose is to provide the individual with the training and experience to have a successful career with C3 IT. The Apprentice will be able to start working and earn a wage while learning the key skills and gaining qualifications to meet industry and C3 standards. The Apprentice will develop the necessary skills by assisting the IT team in supporting Office IT. Apprentices will perform the same tasks as mentors demonstrating a progression in their abilities over 1 year.
• The apprenticeship is a quarterly program where the apprentice will be evaluated and determine if they are ready to progress to the next level.

• Q2: Demonstration of IT Support Knowledge
• IT Support Ticketing System
• Problem-Solving
• Managing different types of computer systems at C3
• Day-to-Day Management
• Q3: Execution of Tier 2 IT Support
• Demonstration of Support Skills
• Oversee tickets from start to finish
• Assisting in Office IT Projects
• Preparing hardware for new hires and equipment upgrades
• Q4: Be an IT Assistant (Management Aspects of the IT Department)
• Inventory forecasting
• Assisting in creating IT Budget
• Assisting in Project Management
• Creating documentation for C3 Staff
• The end goal is to train the Apprentice to be capable of performing Tier 1 & 2 IT support on their own and become a Full-time member of the C3 IT Team.
• The C3 Apprenticeship Program is for a candidate that the IT team has identified as having a genuine interest in Office IT in the Event industry.
• The purpose of the program is to train those that have a genuine interest in a line of work C3 conducts and intend to follow the training as a career path.
• Apprentices will be reviewed at regular intervals by their supervisor and peers
• While the Apprentice will focus on one division/department, they should spend time in other divisions/departments to expand their knowledge of C3's operation in general

Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge or strong interest in Information Technology in the Events Industry. Previous work experience in live events is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to career progression
• The ability to perform physical work which may require standing for extended periods and lifting objects of up to 30 pounds, on a regular basis (Ex: Setting up new employee work areas)
• Able to maintain a good work ethic and customer service attitude while supporting C3's technical needs.
